Do you believe?
I joined Squidoo Feb-2008. Since that time I have written a lot of pages. This was my very first page I wrote and it was to promote my handmade-one of a kind Inspirational Faeries. This page has changed a lot over the years, and although I know the title should be changed, I keep it as is.
I am not making as many Inspirational Faeries these days because I spend most of my time keeping up ALL of my other pages, and promoting them. Now I am focusing more on artwork and photography. But when a little fairy needs to be created, or a fairy picture wants to be created, I stop everything and create them. Ah, the life of an artist!
My newest project is creating Fairy Pictures. I have many posted in my Zazzle Gallery WhiteOak at Zazzle, but some I do not because I have other plans for them. I create these fairies by using several different computer programs, 2 which are 3D programs.
This Fairy is one of my favorites, I call this picture Beauty of Night.

It is the smallest things in life that touch our hearts in a large way....
I have heard many different things about the magick that these little faeries bring into someone's life but it never stops amazing me how open people are to their energies. This is a wonderful journey for me personally. Creating these little faeries does not seem like work at all, but instead a blessing straight from the Divine. (WhiteOak)

When a faerie wants to be seen......
who am I to say no!
Every faerie is made from scratch. They come with their own certificate that explains the date they were created, their name and their own personal message. Each Faerie is unique and different so you will actually own a "one of a kind piece of art". The faeries are approx. 11" by 8 1/2" (that is including the width of their wings). I have several different styles: Hanging (or flying) Standing (on a white doll stand) Sleeping (laying down on a handmade pillow).I keep a list of everyone who has purchased a faerie and the date they were sold or given as gifts. I make this available on my adoption page http://whiteoakartdesigns.com/page2-5.html for others to view. I really enjoy hearing your experiences with these magickal beings. I have heard some of the most inspirational comments and most of them relate to a spiritual aspect of the persons life. Email me, I would love to hear your stories!
Matariki means the Pleiades. A cluster of seven stars that are referred to as the 7 sisters of the Pleiades. This constellation is close to the astrological sign Taurus. As it is Spring in the Northern hemisphere, it is Autumn in the Southern hemisphere. Matariki teaches us the cycle of balance. In the spring we work hard to produce our harvest. In the Autumn we reap our awards for our hard work. It is the balance of the cycle that brings us understanding of life.

- Love your artwork. Blessings (or fairy dust?) from an Angel. :)
I love to see artwork and read about fairies. Not sure if I believe they exist though.

- I have always loved fairies and have them all over my house and garden. My dog recently told an animal communicator that there are real fairies all over our house! I am so glad to find another source for fairies and another fairy lover!
