Architecture - The glue that holds all the other arts together

Architecture is, in general, conceived, designed, and realized as a response to a set of conditions, whether functional, or reflecting social, political, and economic status. As a form of art, architecture seeks to satisfy more than the functional requirements of a building. Architecture accommodates human activities, ordering forms and spaces, promoting endeavors, communicating meaning. Man is not simply a physical being, who needs room. The way people feel about a space depends crucially on how it's divided up, painted, lit, entered, and furnished. Architecture is the artistic form of expressing all men's needs.
