If I were to buy a different 2.4 GHZ wireless camera, would it transmit to the monitor from this kit?
  • CleanerLife Jan 26, 2012 @ 12:26 pm | delete
I don't know for sure. I haven't tried using cameras and monitors from different kits with each other.

If you like coffee, check out my lens on Who Invented Coffee. I found your lens by accident, and it's really nice. I gave you a thumbs up. If you surf on by, leave me a comment.

The pictures are great and make your lens very easy to follow. I wish I had a wireless camera in my vehicle that can capture and record video. Right now I'm using my digital camera the same way.

This sounds like a fabulous invention. I wonder if I could do it without missing something else up :)

The most difficult part of this job is finding a good location for the transmitter, yet you didn`t even mention that item in your tutorial.
  • CleanerLife Jun 25, 2010 @ 7:16 am | delete
Sorry, perhaps yours is a bit different than the model I installed. The only transmitter that I know of is in the camera itself. My camera pretty much only works on the license plate, so I didn't need to put much thought into that.

Always by from a trusted location, and make sure that you can repack the product if you find out that there is no way to install it on your vehicle. At least then you can return it and get your money back.

These should be compulsory on vehicles. You've made a really useful lens on how to install a backup camera and I thought the images were great.

Good job of explaining how to do this, you make it so simple that anyone could do this themselves. Your pictures are excellent. 5*s

I could use one of those when my car is loaded with stuff for my shows. Can't see out of the windows.

What a good idea. I recently hit another car, driving in reverse, going ever so slowly and thinking I had space enough. No people hurt, but a lot of paper work ensued.

Excellent job of demonstrating this. Thanks for featuring a couple of my lenses too! Unfortunately, I really need one of these backup cameras. In 33 years of driving all of my "accidents" were in reverse when I was being careful. :(
