Instant cameras did not die when Polaroid stopped selling film in 2008. Among instant photography artists there was a little scare that that the art would not be saved. Many stock piled Polaroid film in hope to elongate their passion of instant photography. The need even opened up a huge market on eBay for instant film fans seeking Polaroid film.

Because of the reaction of the instant camera users everywhere in 2009 Polaroid decided to bring back a new and improved Polaroid. With a little competition from Fuji, instant photography is back in. A couple years after the first release the new cameras that give photographers instant gratification are even better.

Instant film is more then just being able to print out a photo instantly. With digital cameras and photo printers just that alone does not give instant cameras an advantage. Instant photography can be an art form.
