How to internet market
Basic stuff
Here are just a few basic things one needs to know about marketing/promoting your money making program or website.
1. Know what you are selling: no one wants to buy from someone who doesn't even know their own product.
2. Get it seen: get your website out there on the net'. Traffic exchange sites are great for this, and submitting to search engines will also help.
3. Blog about it: use sites like Blogger.com to make an impressive blog about your money making program or site. Make it interesting, add some graphics, include your site url and maybe an ad. Or make it more personal and then sell them at the end of it.
4. Articles and Press releases: write up an interesting article (not an ad) about the website. Make it like an article you would read in the newspaper, and have the title be something catchy like: 24 year old fires his own boss! or Instant pay programs are sweeping the internet.
5. Make a video and upload to Youtube and other video sites: This is the newest wave in internet marketing. Make a video of yourself describing your program or website. You have to know what you are talking about, looking at scripts sounds too unprofessional. Make sure your tags have something to do with making money, home business, work-from-home, something along those lines. Put your site url first thing in your description, and at the end of your video, make sure you tell them to click on it.
6.Social Networking sites: These are all over the place online. Myspace, Facebook are the more well known sites, but there are tons more out there these days. Find them, and use them to your advantage. Put links on your profiles, do blogs about it there, put banners or graphics, write bulletins or notices about it, join the forums.
7.Free Classifieds and business forums: like Craigslist, freeadforum, or do a search. These are highly effective. Just write up a little ad about your program or site, put your url in it, and think of a catchy title. Post ads here daily and see the results.
8. Email Yahoo groups: or MSN groups, Google Groups, myspace groups, facebook groups. Join the financial services groups with TONS of members. Then you can email to the group email and it will be sent to everyone in that group. Do this a few times a day, put your ad in the email, a catchy title, and see what happens!
Use all these (mostly) free ways to promote, and you can practically call yourself an internet marketer.
