How Do Intensive Courses Work?
Intensive Courses, Semi-Intensive Courses, Crash Courses, Quick Pass Courses, Fast Pass Courses, Intensive Driving Lessons...
Intensive Courses, Semi-Intensive Courses, Crash Courses, Quick Pass Courses, Fast Pass Courses, Intensive Driving Lessons...all of these mean basically the same thing - a course of driving lessons that get you to Practical Test standard in a shorter timescale than the "traditional" one driving lesson a week.
An intensive course is scheduled over a period of days or weeks leading up to the date of your driving test.
Our intensive courses are very flexible and are designed to fit in with your availablity to take driving lessons.

- Clearway Driver Training only use experienced, fully qualified driving instructors. Unlike many other driving schools, we do not use any trainee driving instructors to teach our customers.
- Our intensive courses are one to one. You won't be sharing your the car or your time with any other learner drivers and you'll have your instructor's full attention.

We're not just a remote booking agency who simply refer people wanting intensive courses to instructors they have never met but who pay the agency a fee for finding them customers. We know our instructors personally and they have a proven track record of excellence... we're on hand to help in the unlikely event of any problems.
- We look beyond simply getting you through your driving test. We'll teach you to drive properly, safely and considerately to equip you for driving independently after you pass your test. Yes, we'll take you round test routes - but we'll also take you on as many different types of roads and enable you to experience as many different types of traffic conditions as we can.
- Our intensive courses are designed for you as an individual. We don't believe in "one size fits all" courses with a pre-set number of driving lessons. We will give you however many lessons you actually need, so if you require say 20 hours, we won't make you take 40 hours!
- Our instructors are members of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA) and have all undergone enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks, so you can be assured of safe, top quality driving tuition from professional driving instructors.
- We don't make meaningless promises. We don't guarantee a test pass because we can't - but we can guarantee to teach you everything you need to know to reach the standard of driving required for the Practical driving test - and we'll do it in a straightforward, honest and professional way.

Intensive Course Assessment
You'll need an assessment session with one of our instructors before your course can be booked so that they can assess your standard of driving and give you an estimate of how many hours you as an individual will need to get to test standard. They can then plan a course of driving lessons tailor made for you to fit in with your availability and requirements.
A 1 hour driving assessment costs £18.00
We DON'T offer "one-size-fits-all" courses with a "set number of hours and take your test at the end" because everyone is an individual and has different needs. We think that taking a driving test after a set number of hours ready or not is a daft way to approach learning to drive but unlike so many "off the shelf" type intensive courses, we won't make you take 40 hours of driving lessons if you only NEED 20!

Guaranteed Pass Courses
Sorry, but we don't offer them!
NO DRIVING SCHOOL CAN "GUARANTEE" A DRIVING TEST PASS - IF THEY COULD, NO-ONE WOULD EVER FAIL THEIR DRIVING TEST!
Adverts for "Guaranteed Driving Test Pass" courses are simply sales gimmicks and nothing more than misleading, empty promises!
There is never any "guarantee" of a driving test pass and there never can be - after all, the only person who has any control over whether a driving test is passed or failed is the person who actually takes the test and how well they perform during the test.
The most any driving instructor can do is to make sure that test candidates are taught everything they need to know in order for them to be able to drive to the standard required for the Practical Test - they cannot and do not have any more influence than that over the outcome of a driving test. It's up to the test candidate to put the knowledge gained from their driving instructor into practice and demonstrate to the driving examiner that they can drive to the required standard.
"Guaranteed Pass" courses do not mean what most people think they mean! The phrase is nothing more than an appealing sounding sales gimmick.
Driving schools who offer so called "Guaranteed Pass" courses simply offer extra training in the run-up to another test attempt if the first attempt is failed.
Guaranteed Pass courses often impose a limit on how much additional training is offered and/or the number of times the driving test can be taken again. In addition the cost of extra training and more than one test attempt is usually already factored into the cost of the course from the outset, meaning that they can be unnecessarily expensive if you pass first time!
