My son takes this robot with him everywhere. I was concerned that he would lose interest after a few days, but he spends the majority of his day playing with R2.
A must have - super fun, really excellent quality - build and functionality - HEY R2 - MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!

The device functions flawlessly with me in command, but my 5 year old is not as clear and loud to get R2 to respond. This has made it frustrating for him.
My son wanted this for Christmas. I was reluctant in buying it not knowing if it would be worth it. It was! This toy is so cute and my son LOVES it!
I was very impressed with this excellent collectible toy. Great price for a smart robot who can interact with you and the kids. My only grumble is that he sometimes get too much of an attitude and will not respond to your commands, then you must hit him on the head to reset and he doesn't like that. Otherwise he is alot of fun and still looks good when just sitting on a shelf. I recommend this product.
What a terrific product this robot is, very interactive and just loads of fun and laughs. I would not hesistate to buy another!
I bought R2-D2 for my daughter's birthday. It was pricey, so I was hesitant, but she seemed to really want it. Boy, I'm glad that I did as it is a very well made, sophisticated toy. I find myself playing with it and treating it almost as a pet.
