"Intergenerational Activities Sourcebook" by the Pennsylvania State University, College of Agricultural Sciences.

This eBook was put together by the Pennsylvania State University, College of Agricultural Sciences. It is available online for FREE at http://pubs.cas.psu.edu/freepubs/pdfs/agrs91.pdf. It provides rich, concrete exercises designed to break the ice and begin bringing the generations together. It's practical and as accessible to first timers as it is to seasoned pros. The book is a welcome addition to the growing body of work available for intergenerational professionals. Finally, the book provides additional resources for developing intergenerational programs.

State of Wisconsin - "South side neighbors want a better Penn Park"
With summer approaching, residents of south Madison are working to get good things going at Penn Park, a neighborhood park off South Park Street that gets heavy use from both local kids at play and others up to no good...Droessler said she received a $2,000 grant from the town of Madison for a program involving intergenerational activities among the senior citizen residents of Quaker Housing, located across the street from the park, and kids from the nearby Boys and Girls Club. She also is working on a junior "crime scene investigation" program.

State of California - "Intergenerational Games Aim to Bring Young and Old Together"
A couple of times a year, San Diego County stages what are called the Intergenerational Games. The idea is to stimulate interactions between the generations. Seniors and teenagers pair up in a series of simple contests. It's a friendly competition with a public health theme, and the organizers of the games say everybody wins. KPBS health reporter Kenny Goldberg has the story.

PACE 2000
PACE 2000 International Foundation is a registered Canadian charitable organization (Reg.# 892857962 RR 0001). The name PACE is an acronym for Programs for Autonomy and Communication for the Elderly. The overall objectives of the PACE 2000 Foundation are to foster on-going communication between seniors and students, to create opportunities for both generations to share knowledge and experience and to provide mutual support. The interaction allows seniors to live longer in their own homes and provides support for their autonomy.
