Interior Paint Colors that Have a Shabby Chic Tone

Shabby chic interior design is not hard to accomplish. A touch of one of these great shabby chic interior paint colors and you're all set...shabby chic is just around the corner when you have the right paint colors in mind.

The best shabby chic interior paint colors tend to be in the hues of yellows, blues, and greens as well as some natural colors such as tans. It is vitally important to any shabby chic design that you do not pick a pastel color rather than a shabby chic color. Pastels can often be mistaken for shabby chic but they are actually very drab when combined with the accents of a shabby chic design.

Choosing interior paint colors for your home does not have to be the mission impossible. If you are going for a shabby chic design then choose shabby chic interior paint colorsthat are sure to compliment your design and add beauty to your home...goodbye pastel freak--Hello Shabby Chic!

Interior Paint Colors for a Shabby Chic Home

If you must go shabby chic and you are not sure which interior paint colors will compliment the design best then you should check out some places such as Pottery Barn and Benjamin Moore for interior paint color options. There are many different interior paint colors from these companies that are perfect for a shabby chic design.

Blues are perfect for shabby chic interior paint colors to bring a touch of the countryside into the home. Light blue hues that are not overly pastel should be used for best results. Interior paint colors from Pottery Barn such as Buxton Blue are the perfect shabby chic paint colors for the home.

Shabby chic interior paint colors that are green should be similar to a light olive type shade but not totally olive. Shabby chic is hard to explain but one thing is certain and that is that when you use the right interior paint colors a shabby chic design can easily come together. When it comes to interior paint colors, a nice shabby chic green to use also comes from the Pottery Barn Benjamin Moore paint collection and it is called Olive Branch.

Finally, for the shabby chic yellow...Concord Ivory tops the cake. This is one of those interior paint colors that you see and you are just awe inspired by. It is not real yellowy but not white either. It screams shabby chic from a mile away! While there may be many shabby chic interior paint colors on the market, these are truly some of the nicest.
