Interview withThe International Sports Sciences Association's COO, Patrick Gamboa.

Mr. Gamboa is a Philipino man at 37 years of age and getting younger. He has been married to his " God fearing" wife Karena for ten years and they love their thirteen year old Chihuahua named Zena. Any chance Patrick gets he enjoys Christian music and 90's Top 40. His hobbies include Reading, learning new things and home improvement projects. Patrick has a love for Natural Bodybuilding and recreational basketball. Mr. Gamboa also holds various Competitive Achievements which include ; ISKA Grand National Sport Karate Forms & Sparring Champion, NPC, UNBA, ACBA, ABA holding First place in multiple events. Patrick has been in the Fitness industry for over sixteen years with "Academic Degrees in Exercise Physiology and Biology respectively." That being enough for the average person, but not for Mr. Gamboa. He also holds ISSA Master of Fitness Sciences, ISSA Master of Sports Sciences, Head Master Trainer and sits as Vice president of Education with fifteen Fitness and Nutrition related certifications. Upon completing his degrees he worked in a variety of settings working primarily as a Biology teacher and a Strength/Conditioning coach. Patrick contributed to leading John Muir Mustangs outdoor track team to the 1997 High School outdoor State and National Championships. It was during these early years where he developed his passion for Natural Bodybuilding and is a Champion with the NPC, UNBA, ABA and the ACBA having competed in each for the past ten years.

Patrick Gamboa is the Key reason that the ISSA remains the "Power House" of Personal Training certification and Continued Education. Patrick's knowledge of Fitness with his attitude towards teaching is an invaluable asset for the ISSA and anyone whom is in receipt of his information. He's got so many answers to many different questions but if there's a time he needs assistance that's when he turns to his team of knowledgeable people backing him up. The answers from his team are just as valuable as if they came form the man himself. They are also the reason the ISSA is held so high among the Fitness/Nutrition world. Among the reasons for Patrick to choose the International Sports Sciences Association, one really stands out for him. " The ISSA believes in educating students as a nationally accredited DETC distance education provider but most importantly is dedicated to supporting each student in benefiting from what they've learned and accomplished when starting their own business or their personal betterment. When asked how the experience at ISSA has been so far he answered " It has been life changing as I grow each year, as I focus on helping one student at a time realize their individual goals and aspirations. It has been and God Willing will continue to be my pleasure and privilege. If I can play a small role in educating, motivating, guiding and encouraging others to help just one other person, then collectively we can do so much more than I could ever accomplish individually."

To sum up the experience with Mr. Gamboa, one thing comes to mind " We NEED more people like this man to guide the path of the youth or anyone in need of a Lift." The world being such a Weight on everyone both mentally and physically it is reassuring to see there are still people out there that truly care about others. Finally a positive thought in this tough world. Most people that offer help want something in return (money,etc..), not Patrick. You can actually feel that he cares more about your betterment than he does his pocket and that is wonderful especially online. Online education an be a cold and heartless place full of scams and spam and to find ISSA and Patrick for myself has been life changing. I want to say "Thank You" to Patrick for being the man that has given myself and thousands of others the opportunity and guidance to succeed in the world of Fitness and Life. I would like to share with you a quote Patrick left me with at the end of the interview.
