International education jobs
Job outsourcing has been a hot topic for quite a while now. Seeing jobs go overseas in a time of such economic peril when millions of folks are unemployed in this country doesn't seem fair. Unfortunately this trend will probably continue especially in the manufacturing and technology sectors. Although the field of education hasn't been affected by outsourcing per se, tight local budgets have forced many school districts to delay hiring school teachers and have even had to lay off a number of educators. So what are the options that you have left if you want to remain a school teacher? One possible solution is to research international education jobs.
Where to apply for international teaching jobs?
You need to contact the school that you want to teach at then send them your resume and at least 2 references. The whole process takes quite a while to complete. Interveiw are sometimes held at recruitment fairs.
