For breast cancer awareness month our company, www.bakelitejohnnys.com, is supporting a charity called the International Breast Cancer Research Foundation through eBay Givingworks. This organization conducts cost efficient and experimental research in hopes of finding breakthroughs regarding breast cancer. They search the world looking for new techniques and technology, and utilize these resources in research and development. As a company, we believe that breast cancer is a serious issue which needs to be addressed, and that the best chances for cure may not be here in the USA. The IBCRF is searching the world finding new developments in breast cancer treatment, as well as a cure. This foundation is determined to make developments in this field, and believe that it is in need of much more attention than what it currently receives. Companies stopped working in this field as research became too expensive, but the IBCRF believes it doesn't have to be this way. They use cost-effective techniques to develop breakthrough information which will hopefully lead to a cure of this terrible disease.

It is a known fact that breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women. As a company made up entirely of women, we believe that addressing the neglect of this field is an important issue.
