4. Faxaway

email fax - Faxaway

The first time I heard about this service was in the late 2004 at some online forum. There was a person back then made a prediction that this service won't last longer, because of the cost they charged their customer and also the feel and look of their website.

I have to admit it, their website didn't look professional and It still doesn't. And their service costed only $1 per month for free receiving pages and $0.11 per minute for sending pages to US destinations (International rates vary). Yeah, they charge using per-minute basis for sending pages.

But there are some facts we can't deny. They've been in the business since 1995 and today they still exist. If in 2004 they had those incredibly low rates as I mentioned above, today they're still running with the same rates. And they have thousands of loyal customers (and keep increasing). They have high quality service and very responsive customer support.

Here are what you got with Faxaway:
- No setup fee
- $1 monthly cost for account maintenace.
- Sending rates to US destinations is $0.11/minute
- Free Receiving pages
- Send and receive faxes via email or web interface.
- Free faxes to U.S. 800,866,877 and 888 numbers.
- You may allow as many as 250 email users access to your Faxaway account at no additional charge.
- You can pay for your account by credit card, check, or money order.

But they give you only a Seattle (206 area code) number. If this is such an issue for you, I would suggest you got your own toll-free number and pointing it at your Faxaway number. You can get toll-free number at Toll-Free Numbers
