According to CNN "Japan launched a rocket Saturday carrying a satellite that will test new technology that promises to deliver "super high-speed Internet" service to homes and businesses around the world."

What this means is cable and DSL Internet access are now in the first stages of obsolecence. DSL is typically 25% or less than cable which is usually 5MB or faster transmission. Now with 1.2 gig Internet access users will have speeds 200 times faster than cable.

With this kind of bandwidth available most users will be able to view any kind of video including high-def movies.

If you are not into video marketing yet, you would do well to start learning about it now lest you get totally passed by.

A fellow Warrior on the Warrior Forum sent me a PM asking me what I thought about Tiffany Dow's "Flip That Lens" report because he saw that I had bought it.

After consideration, I decided that I owed him a frank review so here is what I said:

Hi XXXXX,

Tiffany's Dow's "Flip That Lens" "Flip That Lens" is the best I've read about doing a Squidoo site/business. I read 2 others and watched a pretty good video but hers is the easiest to follow and guides you well with what to do.

To make a go of it, you need to work at it. Like writing articles not just for Squidoo but also you have to do article marketing like ezinearticles.com to drive traffic to it too.

From what she indicates if you read closely is it will probably take about 3 months to start flipping lenses and you have to market/auction them.

I'm not sure where she's figuring only 30 minutes or so of work. But she's a writer so maybe its a breeze for her.

Its like building and promoting a website except easier because Squidoo has all kinds of plug-in modules.

I only have 1 article so far but plan to add more.

Personally, I think there is an opportunity to make money using Squidoo if nothing more that affiliate marketing others' products.

Also, I'm working on a plan to chain social network sites to drive traffic and sales so Squidoo fits there too.

You could make $200 extra a week but it isn't like do 30 minutes of work and your done.

Also, don't forget, Squidoo is a major business for her now so she's awfully enthusiastic in her claims.

With that caveat in mind, bottom line -- her report is a good deal because it teaches you what and how and if you want too, making a couple of hundred extra a week is doable.

Marketing with streaming video is still a fairly new
approach. Traditionally (in Internet terms) most
marketing has been done with text and pictures. But
consumers and advertisers know the television
commercials still have the most impact.

Online advertising began with newsletters in the
form of e-mails, banners, and pop-up advertising.
Surfers eventually became bored with these advertising
techniques, and eventually filter them out from their
vision. The Internet browsers
began to add pop-up blocking to the functionality.

Soon, spammers started hitting people's e-mail. As a
defense, antivirus systems began to filter e-mails
based upon certain words. Additionally, the
ISPs began to use e-mail filters to block spam and it
became difficult for legitimate newsletters that were
double opt in to get through to their subscribers.

About two years ago Jim Edwards of Internet fame
saw video as the next big thing. Jim new through
testing that video was getting people's
attention. You know the TV commercials drive
viewers' almost undivided attention. I, like many
others began to look forward to Jim's videos. But
at that time doing video was quite expensive.
Websites were charging premium for streaming
videos.

Streaming Videos have the ability to grab people's
immediate attention. When the video gets old you
replace it with a new one. By doing this you continue
to grab the consumer's attention.

When you are using videos, the subscriber gets a
clear "picture" of your idea or your product.
When your subscriber understands what you and
your product or about, they can begin to know
you, like you, and trust you. Those are
subscribers and customers who will be given to
buy your products in an ongoing basis.
