What is Network Marketing?

Network Marketing is a system used to leverage your efforts to magnify effectiveness. Network marketing is a system used primarily to create and build a business. This can be a system of various marketing tools or a team of individuals focused on one purpose. When the proper network is in place, there is no telling what you can accomplish. The most important and rewarding thing about networking is building relationships with people. When your focus is on helping and encouraging people to succeed, it is a win-win situation. Too many network marketers focus on get-rich-quick and they don't focus on the long-term residual income.

What is Leverage?
The purpose of a lever is to magnify the energy you apply to a problem or situation in order to maximize the impact. There are three parts in a leverage system: Arm (lever), Pivot (fulcrum), and Situation (problem).

We tend to focus on the situation or problem and don't believe we can move it. We get overwhelmed and doubt our abilities. We need to step back and find a lever long enough to move our mountainous problem. The longer the lever the easier it is to move your problem.

Don't get fixated on the problem; instead look around for a bigger and better lever.

The Lever
In network marketing there are two types of levers. The first lever is a community of individuals that are focused on the same goal. This community of people is determined and dedicated to helping each other reach a common goal. Network marketing captures the skills of each person on the team to accomplish this goal. When the whole team wins, each individual wins.

The second lever is your marketing system. Most online businesses tend to focus on one marketing area. This is doomed for failure. You must diversify your marketing efforts; especially in today's always changing technology.
