How many visitors does your website get on average? Are you sick of trying traffic exchanges as your method of Internet Traffic Building?
The question that the majority of newbies have when it comes to starting an online business is, "How do you get more online traffic?". And without spending a lot of money in the process would be nice too.
One of the best methods to starting out getting free, quality traffic to your site is with Squidoo, and other web 2.0 properties. If you learn how to do it properly and utilize a few tips and tricks, you could get a decent amount of visitors for free. Not to mention your squidoo lens will actually make you money on top of that.
Keyword Research Is The Key!
The Key To Internet Traffic Building On Squidoo Is Your Keyword

If you want to know How To Increase Internet Traffic to your website using Squidoo, you first need to know how to do some proper keyword research.
The great thing about Squidoo is that it ranks really well in Google, which is where you want to get your free traffic from. If you know what you are doing it is very easy to get some good traffic from Google, but you have to find a good keyword to start out with that has a decent amount of traffic with low competition.
It is usually easiest to look for a long tail keyword (a keyword made up of multiple words with lower competition). If you have purchased a keyword tool then you can use that for your research, but there are some good free options that will do just fine.
You can use a free tool called Good Keywords, or you can use Google's free keyword tool. Just go to Google and type in "external keyword research tool". The first result will be Google's keyword tool.
What you are looking for is a keyword that has good traffic but low competition. Once you find one you think looks good, compare it to others to make sure. Then go to google and type the keyword in the search box in "quotes" and check the number of results in the upper right hand corner. If it is under 50,000 it should be a good keyword.
Now you are going to use that keyword as the title of your lens, and the end of your Squidoo URL. You can put dashes in between the words to separate them (internet-traffic-building) or you can combine them words all together (internettrafficbuilding). If the keyword is already being used then just add a number or another word to the end of it.
Your Keyword Phrase
Where To Put Your Most Important Keyword Phrase

Once you have found the all important #1 Keyword Phrase you need to make sure that you optimize your Squidoo lens with it. You need your phrase in each of the following locations on your lens:
1- It needs to be at the end of your Squidoo URL.
2- When Squidoo gives you the option to add 3 more keywords you need to add your keyword phase again as the first keyword, even though it is already listed above.
3- You should create a keyword link in your Bio.
4- You need to use it in the title of the lens.
5- You should use it in the title, subtitle, and in the first paragraph of your introduction.
