    Survey sites mostly offer it for the US, Canada, Brit and Australian citizens, however there are many opportunities to make money online not sporadically but in gradual steps.

    Great article.

    I have been creating micro niche blogs to make money online. They are just small blogs based on some solid keyword research.

    I always suggest people to look into that when starting to make money online, it can barely become easier than that.

    Maybe you have joined sites that do not pay as well. For me it's not a few measley dollars because I get a lot of forum offers and live chat surveys that often pay over $100.00. I have several friends doing surveys and they are doing quite well and love it. It really is not all that time consuming for the amount of cash if you think about it....even if a survey pays $5.00 for 10 minutes of your time...how many jobs pay that well...I also of course suggest owning your own business but some of the people I have helped have zero investment dollars and now have plenty of spending money...it's not a career but it's an awesome zero investment stepping stone...I hope you have great success I 'll check out your link

    Hi, i must say that I am not a fan of surveys.I
    have tried this! Yeah, you may earn money, but maybe a few measley dollars for a large amount of your time! So not worth it! I spent so much time and effort and I never actually earned enough money or points to see a cheque in the mail!

    From personal experience, the best way to make big $$$money$$$ on the internet is to own your own online business (which hardly costs anything!) and create your own information product! If you are not a great writer or do not like to write, hire a ghost writer! It's pretty simple to do! And you can write about anything you have ever wanted! Everyone is an expert on something.

    I do this myself and have found it to be extremely rewarding! I am a 22 year old mother of 2, and I show people how to do all this for themself on my website! I don't live pay cheque 2 pay cheque anymore! :)

    Also doing the survey opportunities and some cash in my PayPal account with many of the sites you list, but very time consuming. Selling art in these times is a hard sell. Competition with CafePress and like sites is with staggering numbers for presence. Mostly it's about tagging, and even if pulling yourself up in ranking, sales are marginal. Good lens, and informative for those who have never researched money-making opportunities.

    This is a really great lens with some excellent links here. As a writer and freelance copy editor I'm always looking for extra revenue streams in my downtime and this lens was very helpful.

    Thanks for the comment Freddy - as time permits I will add more information on each survey site. I can assure you my intentions on here are only to help share a chance for people to make additional income and not to make a sucker out of anyone. I have helped several financial strapped friends and post sites that are not scams. Quite a few of the links are direct and I get nothing for referring people to them. Surveys take patience, but once you start with several sites its monthly income. I started doing surveys after finding a website set up by a band that does (volition.com) surveys, mystery shopping and forums to supplement income between gigs...I tried a great deal of what they suggested and was able to get myself out of the financial hardship I was having at the time. I'm an IT and qualify for many surveys that pay between 20-100 a survey and has led to high paying forum groups. Amazon money has bought X-mas gifts and the paypal puts gas in my car. I also do pet food surveys.

    My experience with surveys is that most people don't as many points by doing the surveys as they do by referring other suckers... er ... I mean survey takers. I'd like to see more specific info about your experience and earnings with some of the companies you've listed. I have also tried quite a few of the survey agencies in your article . I spent quite a significant amount of time and I ended up with a lot more spam in my mailbox than money in my bank account.

    and cookies!

    Kathy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Cream together:
    1 cup 'real' butter (not margarine!)
    1 1/2 cup sugar
    1 1/2 Tbl. black strap molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    add and blend two eggs
    don't overdo this part or your cookies will turn out weird.

    sift together then fold into sugar mixture:
    2 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking soda

    add and mix to above mixture:
    1 cup coconut
    3/4 cup old fashioned oatmeal
    2 full cups chocolate chips

    Bake at 325 degrees for about 12 minutes. Use only an old junkie cookie sheet... not one of the new ones, they tend to make these cookies cake. Take the cookies out 'just a hair BEFORE they are done'. Let them finish up after they come out of the oven.
