Internet Fame for Your Cat

Oh, simply sending it to submissions@mycathatesyou.com is usually enough... but the criteria are rather strict.
The photos have to be good quality (digital camera, but no cellphone) and large enough for us to scale down for print.
And they have to have some kind of activity. Some other sites, and mine occasionally, will use whatever you have and make the caption stupid enough that it passes muster. We like images where we can rely on the picture for the gag and simply allude to it subtly in the caption. For instance, I will go through 1000 images to get 150 for the calendars.

When you put your cat in, you get stuff to fill out for your pet as if they are putting in the info themselves, like a pet Myspace.

In the next photo my cat has a different captions. Last I checked that photo had 125 captions built.

As you see in this screen shot, Pizazz's photo has been captioned 46 times.

Icanhaschezzburgers has developed a new internet language, that is as if you are speaking through the simple mind of a cat. They even have a dictionary site called Speak Lol speak, so you can get the captions right. Also if you go over to the side on the home page you will see their forum of comments on each home page lol. It's a great place to learn the language and the regulars there are super nice. You can add a hyper link to your name to expose more of your photos that you have loaded on there. When uploading photos add 2 or 3 photos on there a day around 11 am, so they show up in the build area for everyone to caption.

There are several popular Youtube video makers that create fun videos from these. Once your cat photo shows up on the home page of LOL or in the vote section, it's possible that it will be picked up and used. Giving your pets tons of fame. N3OS3R, DogsAnimalsCats and Yourfriendy These guys get thousands of watchers. The picture might have 3 seconds on the video, times that by 100,000, that's 300,000 seconds of kitty fame. One of these guys has even started his own site called Fun tube.

My kitten Pearl was featured on his blog at one point as Foot cat.

Also my cat Pizazz was on there for her "Aht work". She tends to get mean and had made some interesting scratches on my boyfriend's arm.

One thing for Youtube is stick to a theme, focus your channel on one subject with your cat included. Also a weekly feed, because people will be looking for a new video and you can get more subscribers when you keep them entertained.

Networking

Many of the sites I mentioned have a big networking base. The more activity you do, the more you can get people to look at your cat. Make friends, subscribe, rate 5 stars, give nice comments, join groups, make groups, add more, submit lots, and have fun!
