IE8 was released on March 19, 2009 for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008. For purposes of this article, the download for Windows Vista was used.
Internet Explorer 8 comes with a large selection of Accelerators and Web Slices. You can also find and add more from the Internet Explorer Gallery to personalize the browser so that it works best for you.
Find on eBay, Blogger, Blog on Live Search Spaces, StumbleUpon, and Delicious Bookmarks Add-in are just some of the Accelerators available for download on the Internet Explorer Gallery. With Web Slices, move your mouse over text and click on a green Web Slice icon to save a "slice" of the page to your Favorites.
