The Old, Traditional MLM Marketing Methods Just Didn't Work For Me - There Had to Be a Better Way

I knew that the old traditional MLM network marketing methods were not the answer. At least, they were not the answer for me. And it certainly wasn't the answer for my team. I owed it to them to find a better way.

I wanted to find a new approach for marketing my business. No longer did I want to try to convince people to buy something I thought they should want to buy.

I wanted to find something that would work - whether you were selling a product or service on the internet, or whether you were trying to promote your home based business opportunity.

Ann Sieg's Book, The Renegade Network Marketer, Had The Answer

I found a book by Ann Sieg called The Renegade Network Marketer. This book along with her recommended Renegade system was exactly what I was looking for. She said to throw out the old MLM marketing methods. She presented a business model that was being used by companies in other industries to produce millions of dollars of profits. Why was the MLM industry not teaching this?

What she says makes total sense to me. If you are recruiting people to join you in your home business, it's not surprising that you may be having a difficult time.

In your MLM business opportunity, you are probably told to contact your family, your friends, and your acquaintances. But most of those people probably don't have an interest in your business. Even if they join you, they generally don't put in the effort to have success.

After you have contacted all those people, you are probably told to buy lists of leads and start calling them. It's not surprising that these people are skeptical of you and what you have to offer.

After all, they don't know you or anything about you. They don't know if you are being honest with them. They don't know if you are the person who can lead them out of their present situation that is not working and help them achieve their goals. They are looking to solutions to their problems. They don't know if you can provide the solutions they need.

Internet Attraction Marketing - The New Approach

The Renegade Network Marketer and the Renegade system suggest that you use educational marketing to introduce yourself to prospects. You create your own prospects without ever trying to sell them anything. This system gives you detailed step by step information on how to provide valuable information to your prospect through articles and your blog.

What do you write about? You need to analyze your target market and determine what problems they are probably having. You then provide them solutions to their problems.

What does this accomplish? First of all, your target market appreciates the free information they are receiving from you - information that has real value to them. It is helping them solve problems they have.

Secondly, they look to you as a leader and expert - someone who has the answers they are looking for. They respect you for the information you are giving them. They trust you because, over time, they get to know you. They feel comfortable with you because you are not trying to push something on them to buy.

As this relationship of trust and comfort builds, this person may very well contact you with a sincere interest in buying anything you have to offer.

Sieg also emphasizes monetization or earning money from your lead list through affiliate network marketing. You earn money as you generate leads. This concept can greatly improve your own cash flow as well as the cash flow of your team members.
