Giveaway of the Day (Abbreviated GOTD on the website) is a website that gives away a piece of licensed PC (Windows) software for free every day. The site was launched on 24th October 2006. The site allows software developers to post their software to be given away on a specific day. Software can only be downloaded on this specific day because of included protection software that checks the website and activates it on the day of the giveaway.
The site now runs in several different languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, Romanian and Russian.

Ok, here's how to set-up and file your digital products until then...remember most of these products you'll be downloading have resale rights attached, so you can set-up your own ebook resell web with an ebook reseller website if you choose!
Use a free email account such as hotmail, yahoo mail or google gmail because you will get a confirmation email with every giveaway you join. Use that email just for giveaways and freebies.
Folders
Keep your downloads in categorized folders as follows:
Folder named Downloads
The next sub-level folders are the type of resale rights, giveaway rights or personal use allowed. (Make one for each type) You will be glad you did this later!
The Bottom Line Book of Freebies
Inside those folders are the subjects or topics.
You will also need a copy of Adobe Reader for viewing .pdf files and an unzipping utility like cuteftp or winzip or coffeecup free zip wizard.
So go ahead, have fun downloading all those giveaways!

- I am trying to find the name of a gift give-a-way website. The concept I saw was to join the site and then get an email alert every day to go to the website, login, and choose 1 of 3 gift boxes. Inside the box would be a gift---mostly a voucher, but sometimes something better. Does anyone know the name of this website?

- I found a company giving away a free 37" lcd hdtv, every month I think. They claim to not use info for marketing purposes. The site is www.questce.com. Not sure if it is right for your site or not.
