Face it scams over the Internet suck... Save yourself by reading the facts

Con artists are learning more and more ways to take money out of our pockets here are some precautions you should take while online. Each and every day millions of scams find their way onto the Internet through web sites, emails and social websites. Why they often thrive is because we click their offers and we don't realize their offers are scams. Over the years these unscrupulous characters have found new and improved ways of scamming us. We as individuals must keep up and gain more knowledge on how to fight those who would want to harm us through scams.

Precautions

How can we as individuals take precautions and avoid been scammed? One thing we can do is use our common sense when we see prices that are very low but offer us something that we know is very expensive. If the price says $50.00 and we know that buying this product anywhere else would cost $1000 common sense should kick in and help us know that this is too good to be true. When something you're buying over the Internet is too good to be true than 99% of the time it is too good to be true so avoid buying that product.

There are many schemes throughout the Internet and we all heard of them, some such as, pyramid schemes funnel systems or even some cash gifting schemes. There is no physical product in these types of schemes they need you to get other people lined up below you to pay the same fee you paid in order to start their own line of people. These rows form triangles or pyramids and in the pyramids someone always loses whether there upside down pyramids which form funnels.

Watch your email

I don't think there's an individual on the planet with an e-mail address who hasn't met up with some type of e-mail scam. It used to be that they would get you to sign up for something and then they had your e-mail. But nowadays they have spiders crawling the Internet to harvest your emails. This way they are able to collect millions of emails in one crawl. All we can do as individuals is when we receive these types of emails let your e-mail service provider know that this e-mail is spam and click the spam button to get rid of it.
