Directed and produced by Oscar winning Sean Penn this movie is based on the real life story of mountaineer Christopher John McCandless and his endeavors to leave this world for another very similar to ours but vastly different. He transcended the borders of human bondage and entered a world where simplicity is the soul essence of living, a world where man's actions are dictated by one word: Survival, a world where the elements are man's worst enemies and also his best friends, in to the wild.
This movie transcends all barriers of age and time and will appeal to all generations to come just as much as it appeals to ours.
