Which Vitamins do you take?

There is no denying that more people than ever are taking vitamins. Not only is this a great way to improve your health, but the proper amount of vitamins can help you live a longer life. It does not get any more important than that.

Before you begin to take just any vitamins you need to learn a thing or two about yourself. Did you know that you can go overboard? This is not something you want to do. A vitamin supplement can help but this is only necessary if you have low levels because you are not getting enough through your diet.

If you want to learn more about taking vitamins you should speak with your doctor. He can tell you which ones you should take and which ones you should avoid. For example, some people need to take a vitamin D supplement while others need vitamin B or C. This all depends on your body and can be determined from basic blood tests.

Taking a daily multi-vitamin may be the best idea for somebody in your position. With this, you are getting multiple vitamins as opposed to just one.

Note: you can learn a lot about a particular vitamin by reading the bottle. This will tell you how much you should take as well as what it can do for you.

If you are not taking any vitamin supplement you may want to consider changing this in the future. By adding a supplement to your diet you can improve your health

Multivitamins are designed to suppliment our diets to replace what vitamin is deficient, they are made for the needs of different people like men, women, and children. Multivitamins usually contain twenty to twenty five vitamins and minerals, the common ones are vitamin A, C,E,D,K, b6, and b12.
The minerals are manganse, cooper, selenium, zinc, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron. The amounts of each depends on who the vitamins are for. Never take more then the recommended dosage, you can overdose and the effects from that are increased urine, tooth staining, stomach bleeding, confussion, and weakness.
It is beneficial to take a multivitamin over a single vitamin the you may be lacking, the one you are lacking may effect others. A particular nutrient may work together with others to serve a purpose, when vitamins and minerals that work in synergy are taken together they are most effective.
Severe vitamin deficencies need to be treated by a doctor, while mild deficencies can benefit from suppliments. There are recommended daily
allowances for each vitamin and mineral, even when we are eating right it is hard to meet all of those. Today's food is actually getting nutrient weaker from the processing and chemicals, even some fresh food is geneticly enhanced to grow bigger or faster.
