This lens is all about one of the things in life that I am most passionate about in life. After my children and my wife, is my Wifes online business, Little Dance Invitations. She creates what I honestly believe to be some of the most beautiful and moving, creative photo invitations in the world. Like most people, she sometimes doubts her own creative ability. So I have decided to share some examples with the world to test the waters, feedback wise. Please let us know what you think! This is my first lens and is very much a work in progress, so I apologise if it rambles a bit.

Invitations for all occasions using your own photos.
Little Dance Invitations, Announcements and cards is an Australian based supplier of invitations and announcements for all occasions, using your photos.So what sets us apart from all the thousands of other invitations and announcement sites out there? The personal touch, driven by how much we enjoy creating these beautiful moments. We work with you on your selected design, from initial contact to approved proof. One of our major points of difference is the quality of the finished product. In many cases its hard to establish where your photo ends and our background begins. For those not comfortable with using a photo we have a selection of non photo cards.
Customer satisfaction and ongoing referral and repeat customers for invitations are one goal, but the real reward is the feedback we get. Everyone loves a compliment, and we are no different! All of our cards are an artwork in themselves and you will not find anything like them anywhere on the web.
This lens will be updated and improved regularly as I work out how to use squidoo better but for now, I will list some of our products and artworks.
We wil show a sample of each invitation, announcement or card, and will include a link to another squidoo page specialising in that invitation card, or party theme topic.
We began with pregnancy announcements, baby shower invitations, birth announcements, baptisms, christenings and naming invitations. We then expanded to include birthday party invitations for children and grownups. We now offer a range of stationary for all occasions including weddings, Christmas, and milestone events in life. We have even worked out how to put your invitation images on your birthday cakes and cupcakes.
Thats all I will write for now, however over time I will write more on each topic.

Following two mostly happy and finally successful pregnancies, we were very much in love with being parents. And, like so many new parents probably do, wanted to announce to the world ...hang on,...we're not pregnant anymore...So we began with pregnancy announcements, some with photos, some without. The next theme we encountered in the slow march of pregnancy was the baby shower. Slow march because when you are THAT pregnant nothing happens quickly. Baby showers are very important to an expectant lass. Especially if its the first. A happy and successful Baby Shower confirms that there is huge interest in the child, and indeed in the unfolding events. It shows the esteem and regard people will welcome the new family member, as well as the high regard the mother to be is held in.A great Baby Shower Invitation goes a long way to cementing the success of your baby shower, as well as giving the inlaws, relatives, partners in crime, outlaws, and anybody else you invite something to smile about every time they see it....The image above is one of our first designs. Birth Announcements using your photos by Little Dance
Welcome to our world....and welcomed with love.
When a baby is born, everyone wants to know everything. Well ok most things. And we all want to share with everyone as much as we can, both relatives and friends near and far. The limits of time, exhaustion and distance take their toll, we found. So we designed a range of birth announcements for baby boys, and girls, and multiples. Most use photos, and all follow a theme. If your theme is baby animals we have some beautiful birth announcements with baby animals. Others are more classic styled, with flowing scripts. Everyone loves their children. Boys are easy to please...but little girsl are special. Princesses or fairies, mermaids or elven queens with unicorns at their command...magic can happen at a little girls party. Some of our girls birthday party invitations are simpler, for first and second birthdays, but when bubbly young personalities begin to emerge thats when things really come to life! Boys Birthday Party Invitations
Heartbreakers breaking hearts.....and having sooo much fun along the way
Babies become little boys who tell us they are now big boys then teenagers then we become men. Hopefully at some point we grow up, unless like me you subscribe to the Peter Pan philosophy.Thankfully in this super serious world there are plenty of opportunities to let you hair down, put on your eye patch, and do some serious swashbuckling and treasure hunting. Or maybe pretending to fly. Or how about being a fire fighter for an afternoon? Yep, thats what a boys birthday party is all about.
We might start out all soft and cuddly and cute, but how else are we supposed to learn how to be superheroes and so on without practise?
Do you think Spiderman just naturally started web slinging and hitting those tall buildings with that spidey web stuff first time? Of course not. He probably honed his skills just like the rest of us by terrorising his siblings and friends and trashing his house.

This is one of our themed invitations, with the topic as....frogs. At this age many of our little ones are crawling, and smiling a lot.
