Iona - Celtic Christian Music

Formed in the late 1980s by lead vocalist Joanne Hogg and instrumentalists David Fitzgerald and Dave Bainbridge, Iona is a popular Celtic Christian band from the United Kingdom. They released their first self-titled album in 1990.

Iona performs eltic Christian music as well as Celtic rock and new age music. They are known for the beauty of their music and their spiritual message.

Who Is Iona?

Iona is a popular Celtic Christian rock band from the United Kingdom, which was formed in the late 1980s by lead vocalist Joanne Hogg and instrumentalists David Fitzgerald and Dave Bainbridge.

The band has had a variety of musicians, some of whom return to record and perform from time to time. Some of Iona's past and present band members include: Joanne Hogg, Dave Bainbridge, Frank Van Essen, Phil Barker, Dave Fitzgerald, Nick Beggs, Terl Bryant, Fiona Davidson, Peter Whitfield, Tim Harries, Mike Haughton and Troy Donockley.
