Although I'm a relatively new online business (just over a year old now), we recently rebranded and Iona Cosmetics was born. The photograph used on our logo is actually one I took on honeymoon of the Isle of Iona in Scotland 3 years ago, a very peaceful and beautiful place. It is also my daughter's middle name.

So my online business www.ionacosmetics.co.uk is very personal to me and I hope that my customers will appreciate my personal touch, each person is an individual with their own wants and needs.

A very talented lady, Jen, who makes the most gorgeous handmade jewellery is showing off her talents and designing pieces exclusively for Iona Cosmetics. Each piece is totally unique and not available anywhere else. Fantastic value for money too.

I feel so honoured that she has agreed to work with me.

I have now launched our Iona Cosmetics Aromatherapy Collection.

I can't quite put into words my excitement as this is the first time I have ever had my own brand of products.

A huge big thank you goes to Helen Hammond, our beautiful and talented qualified aromatherapist. She has worked tirelessly with me these past 3 weeks however the whole process from my perspective, has been an exciting and pleasurable one.

Over the past 3 weeks, we have developed the labels and the blends for the different products. We also decided to name each skin range after a Celtic (Scottish) Goddess to keep with our Scottish 'Iona' roots. So here are the names of our skin ranges:

Arnamentia (Celtic Goddess of healing & purification) for Sensitive Skin
Coventina (Celtic Goddess of beginnings & inspiration) for Dry Skin
Belisama (Celtic Goddess of water & healing) for Normal Skin
Harimella (Celtic Goddess of protection) for Oily Skin

I think you'll agree, what we've produced are some gorgeous looking products but not only do they look great, they smell and feel fabulous. How do I know this? Well of course I've been pampering myself all in the name of research ha ha (see Helen, I did listen to you :D). I'm sat here typing this Blog with the gentle aroma of Coconut from the Whipped Shea Body Butter I've just used yet again. I smell yummy even if I do say so myself ha ha. I must stop sniffing myself though, people will think I've lost the plot ha ha.

Our range is an extensive one covering numerous products for your skin, from moisturisers to cleansers, from exfoliators to toners, from body butters to foot scrubs to eye gels. You see below just a few photos because I can't help showing them off.

However, this is not the end of the Aromatherapy story. Helen and I will continue to work together building on our Iona Cosmetics Aromatherapy Collection and add new and exciting products to an already fantastic range.

I'm only going to post these photographs here on my Squidoo Lens. Some of these products aren't even on the Iona Cosmetics website yet but will be in the next week or so.

As part of my 'Beach Feet' range, a gorgeous silver anklet which will be available in 3 sizes. The anklet will be sold as part of a gift set containing lots of foot pampering products from nail polish to hand blended aromatherapy foot scrub.

We have a Gifts For Her section on the website, beautiful gift sets, great value for money and all are gift wrapped in a recyclable paper bag in aqua blue with matching tissue paper and tied with beautiful matching ribbon. An example of one of the Gift Sets is below. A great idea for that someone special in your life or a present to yourself, why not indulge yourself for once!!

This comes in a large compact and you can put as much or as little on your skin to create a sun-kissed delicately sparkling glow. I use it for my face, my chest and my shoulders if I've got an off-the-shoulder number on :D.

This is a NEW product to the Go* Cosmetics range. Luscious lipgloss which shimmers and sparkles in five gorgeous shades. I particularly like the cherry colour lipgloss, simply lush, and it lasts a long time too :D

This brush set is a must. It has everything in there that I need and you'll need from brushes for powder, lip gloss brush to that great invention of a brush for putting on your eyeliner.

Party plan with Iona Cosmetics is an easy method of selling products by hosting an informal social event whereby products can be demonstrated and orders taken from those at the event. It's a great way to earn extra income and work flexibly to suit your needs.

I, as the Owner of Iona Cosmetics, strive to work with you, support you along the way and provide you with as much information as I can including leaflets, order forms, colour variation charts, etc. I also arrange a special gift for the Host of your Party as a thank you from us both.

As an Iona Cosmetics Consultant you will find my scheme easily understood and commissions are straight forward. There is no pressure to sell or performance related bonuses (personally I hate that!). You earn a set percentage however the more you sell, the more you earn.
