Pandora

Last, but certainly not least, the free internet-based radio, Pandora. Pandora puts the user in control of what's playing by selecting songs for your stations based on songs or artists that you select. Speaking successful apps, Newtoy Inc. has seen Words With Friends really take off. It's kind of like Scrabble...you spell out words, get triple scores, and it's all phone to phone. The main difference is the words you will see slide. Some of them don't make it into any English dictionaries, but it's all part of the fun of the game. Available on iTunes for $2.99.

Geometry Wars

The beautifully simple, simply beautiful Geometry Wars started off as a mini-game on Xbox 360's Project Gotham Racing 2 and is now available through the Ipad App Store. This colorful, 80's-esque, arcade-style game is better than ever thanks to the Ipad's touchscreen and is only $10.
