Many Schools Ask Parents To Help Pay For Students iPads
When schools decide to adapt technology for the classroom such as iPads, sometimes they find they can not find enough grant funding to cover all the costs. They then consider other options such as asking parents to pay for some of the bill. In some schools parents pay $20 a month for each child for a iPad, after two years they then own the iPad. In some other schools, the iPads are on loan and parents are required to pay a deposit or assurance to make sure lost or stolen equipment are paid for.

- I am having trouble finding a direct way to ask apple if I could buy broken ipads to give to children with special needs at the special school where my wife teaches. I am willing to repair broken screens on my own time and I have a fair ability to repair computer devices. I'll need about 200 ipads total, but I like everyone, I've got a tight budget to get the ball rolling. reedfamily1@verizon.net
