IPL Bangalore is one of the 8 team that will be participating in the IPL tournament.The team was bought out by the flamboyant Bangalore business man and socialite Vijaya Mallaya for 111.6 million dollars. Mallaya lost the bid for Mumbai to Mukesh Ambani.
The IPL Bangalore Team will most likely be the promotional vehicle for Kingfisher Airlines and United Breweries. So the name might reflect that aspect.
Rahul Dravid one of the IPL Icons has agreed to skipper the side. Other prominent Indian squad members who might form part of the team include Anil Kumble and Robin Utappa.
The inaugural match of IPL Bangalore will be against Shah Rukh Khan's IPL Kolkata at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.

My Bangalore is one of the best cities in the world. The IPL team of Bangalore is very nice. DAle Steyn is bowling brilliantly now a days. Nathan Bracken is one of the prominent Aussie bowler. Dravid and Kumble are of course the hometown heroes and they are two of the best players in India.Cameron White is one of the world's best T20 players. Chanderpaul is a oneman army for West Indies and Kallis is one of the best all rounders in the word. Mark Boucher is one of the best Keepers in the world.
