IP video cameras
IP video cameras are the greatest thing. They are the latest technology in low-cost security systems. It's like a video security system that can be monitored from any internet connected computer. The signal from the camera can use existing Ethernet cable or can even be sent through a wireless LAN to your computer. From there it can be accessed from anywhere on your network or even from the internet (with a secure log-on and password, of course). I'm definitely going to set up a security system like this in my house. complete with IP video cameras.

I want to install a video security system to help stop the shoplifting in my gift shop. I don't want the usual home security systems, but I want something that is big and obvious so everyone in the place knows they are being watched at all times. If you've ever seen those big mirrored sphere cameras at some of the bigger stores, that's the kind of IP video camera that I want. You near know which way the camera is pointing so you can't wait until it turns away to start pocketing stuff. The goal is to make people think they're being watched every second that they are in my store so the theft stops, and the IP video cameras are perfect for that.

IP video cameras
My company is thinking about buying some IP video cameras. I spent countless hours looking all over the web for security systems and located a cool site. Also, several people suggested Supercircuits as THE place to go and search. I still have a lot of searching to do but I did find a great video security system with the IP video camera capabilities I need. I will write again soon and keep everyone up to speed.
