IRA Rules give you the first information that you want to know about the IRA or Individual Retirement Account. Aside from your personal savings account, you should also have an account that you will not be able to touch if an emergency comes along. That is what your personal savings account is for. And never, ever touch your retirement (although you will not be able to anyways) savings account.There are two kinds of IRAs that you should take note of: the Roth IRA and the traditional IRA. Some are not eligible to make deductible contributions to a Traditional IRA that is why they have a Roth IRA. And some are not eligible to contribute to a Roth IRA (this is always based on income) so the only choice for them is the Traditional IRA.
