Iris Johansen

Iris Johansen is one of my favorite authors. She throws in a little bit of mystery, romance, and crime, all into one story.

Johansen's characters are lifelike and believable. Her characters make the story, bringing you through all the different emotions that the plotline entails.

I've liked Iris Johansens' Eve Duncan series for some time, and own most of them. Although occasionally I think she has her main characters appear a bit too angry in early dialogue while creating her primary scene. After the scene is established, the character settles down and the dialogue then doesn't 'shout' at you.

I like her Crime Series better. My favorite is "Firestorm" as I particularly like the psychic connection by the main character.

    Nice lens about Iris Johansen.
