iRobot Roomba - Features & Benefits of iRobot Roomba

First of all, iRobot carries the Roomba, Scooba, Verro, Looj and a Dirt Dog. The Roomba models are for vacuuming and the Scooba models are for washing floors. The Verro cleans pools, while the Looj will clean your gutters, and for sweeping the floors of the basement, garage or workshop area, there's the Dirt Dog. Another thing about iRobot is that they refer to their Roomba as "generations", such as first, second, third generations and so on. The second generation is also known as the Discovery series.

Currently there are 12 iRobot Roomba vacuums for inside cleaning, each having slightly different features. The lower end model, iRobot Roomba 400 series, has one "On Button" and wall plug, great for cleaning small areas or single rooms.

As for the top of the line Roomba you will find a few more features and upgrades depending on the model you select such as, cleaning 3 or 4 rooms on a single battery charge, wireless command center, on-board scheduling, virtual walls, lighthouses and some even come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. You will also find the Professional Series comes with their number 1 vacuuming debris bin, high capacity sweeper bin, accessory kit, 3 cleaning modes and much more. I love the fact that there's an iRobot Roomba for everyone, including you!
