IBS, are you ready to take revenge?
Irritable Bowel Syndrome is an illness most commonly characterized by severe cramps, lower abdominal pain, water retention or bloating, constipation, and acute diarrhea. IBS causes a lot of uneasiness and anguish, but it can not permanently harm the intestines, or the intestinal lining, and would not be able to lead to a serious disease or terminal illness, such as Cancer or Aids.
Generally people are able manage and monitor their symptoms, and the effects, with a stable hand on the diet, proficient management tension and stress, and if required prescribed medications by physicians. However, for some people IBS can be immobilizing. They might become incapable of working, attending social events, or even become incapable of traveling short distances.
Who has IBS and what can you do about it?
How many people is Irritable Bowel Syndrome affecting
Ordinary bowel movement might not occur in the colon of a patient with IBS. It may take place spasmodically, or may stop working briefly. Spasms are strong sudden muscle contractions, which periodically come and go.
The colon's lining is known as the Epithelium, which is directly connected to the immune and nervous systems, thus regulating the movement of fluids within the colon. In Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the epithelium just seems to function properly. However, because the contents within the colon move continuously, the colon becomes unable to absorb the body fluids. This results in too much fluid in the stool, as well as the mucous lining being partially shed at times. In others, the functioning within the colon is comparatively slow, which would cause additional fluid being absorbed. Hence, as a result constipation develops in the patient.
What happens to people with IBS and how can Hypnosis help
There are certain triggering factors which could worsen IBS; these would include large uncontrolled meals, bloating or retention from gas inside the colon, heavy dose medicines, rye, wheat, barley, chocolate, certain milk products, or alcoholic drinks which contain caffeine, like coffee, tea, or colas. Another very powerful trigger is stress, emotional upsets as well as conflicts.
Medicines affect people differently, and no particular medicines/combination of medicines would help an IBS patient. One would need to work one on one with a doctor to find the best possible combination of medicine, counseling, diet, and a sort of support to control the symptoms.
You can, with Hypnosis, remove not only the symptoms but also change the way the body physically responds. What's interesting is that you don't need to find a therapist nowadays, you can actually have a professional Hypnotherapist tending to your needs within minutes.
Let me explain: A professional hypnotherapist and author Richard MacKenzie has developed many hypnosis MP3 downloads. One specifically designed for IBS.
