Heritage Park

Heritage Park, IrvineLocated in Irvine, Heritage Park is a small convenient park that houses large spots of open space and a great lake, normally filled with ducks and other birdlife. Their walking paths and play areas make this a perfect spot for an evening stroll. sport events and other children activities are conducted here at their athletic fields, tennis courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court and racquetball courts. This is one of the nice places to visit in southern california

Around the park, you can also find the William J. Woollett, Jr. Aquatics Complex, Irvine Fine Arts Center, Heritage Park Community Center and Child Resource Center.

Colonel Bill Barber Memorial Park

Bill Barber Park, IrvineNamed after Colonel William E.     I've been to Irvine a couple of times on company business when we lived in San Diego county. My husband said he really loved the park he knew as Irvine Ranch when he was young. I am guessing it is Irvine Regional now.

    As a kids My neighbors would invite me along to Irvine Lake. I always remember that as a nice sunny place. It was mostly dirt and rocks in the early 1960's, orange groves too. I do not get down to that direction very much, now. Too much traffic.
