Is Alex Jeffreys just a hack?

So I've been trying to make this Internet Marketing thing work for some time now... although a family tragedy did limit my efforts for a few months. But I was learning all this stuff, some of it contradictory, some of it outdated... and much of it was just plain junk.

I sifted through all of this information and had some ideas... but how do you know if they're the right ideas? Someone on the Warrior Forum told me, "You know it works if it makes you money. Period."

How depressing. And not necessarily true... some things just take time to develop.

But here I was... full of ideas, but too scared to take the big leap.

And then I watched Alex Jeffreys video talking about his then upcoming "Marketing With Alex 2.0" and it sounded to me like the plan he was going to teach was pretty much exactly what I had been thinking about... the timing was too perfect.

So I signed up for "MWA 2.0" and am now 5 or so weeks into the coaching, and here's what I think...

Alex Jeffreys came from the old days of eBay and the quick e-book profits, so when that revenue stream died, Alex's business should have as well.

But Alex did something different... he started giving away items of value and grew his mailing list. More than that, he grew a super-responsive mailing list by giving away the farm!

This is EXACTLY what I had been trying to do with my first IM website: Micro Niche Marketing Made Easy

Once again... I had been unsure of my tactics... but now I was seeing how well the idea worked.

So now I have an awesome personal blog: Alan Harris Online where I give away all my best secrets and ideas, just like Alex. And it's working!

I'm getting more traffic than ever, and it grows a little every day as I continue to add high-quality content for anyone to make use of. My mailing list is slowly growing as well... and not with hundreds of random names and freebie-seekers... but with folks who are actually interested in what I have to say... and what I have to offer.

This... in essence, is what Alex Jeffreys' course is all about. Give away your good stuff and make people happy. When you have done that... those folks are more likely to buy when you do finally ask them to buy. You aren't selling all the time... you are marketing. Build relationships and give away good stuff and the money will beg to come to you.

Listen... there may not even be a "MWA 3.0" but if there is... you need to be a part of it.

Each and every week (sometimes more often), Alex Jeffreys over-delivers on the coaching calls. The calls start with hours of great information showing exactly how Alex built his business from the ground up. Then there is a general Q&A where he answers the burning questions from the chat. Finally, he spends the next two hours taking individual calls from students!! And that's just on the calls...

The help desk that he makes available is amazing. Any problems, they can handle them or talk you through. Very knowledgable group of people.

In short... Alex Jeffreys has so far provided everything he promised, and more. And I'm only about half way through the program.
