Is Tea Bad for You? Understanding the Effect of Caffeine in White Tea
Tea is lot healthier compared to coffee and other beverages like alcohol. Tea is the best friend for people who want to release fatigue faster and supplies an extra boost and adrenaline surge without the harmful effect of steroids.
Is Tea Bad for You?
I am like many others pretty conscious about the health and the ingredients of tea and coffee when it comes to the amount of caffeine present in the seemingly harmless beverage namely tea and coffee. In comparison to alcohol, tea and coffee are safe, however; one must be wary about the amount of caffeine.
Tea is known from ancient days and mankind knew how to prepare tea from the tea leaves that grew in mountains and hilly regions where land was fertile. It is thought to be first used by Chinese and brought to the people of Japan and India. Europe got its first taste when the delicious tea landed in the earliest seventeenth century BC thought to be drought by Dutch.

Legends Of China White Tea, Organic (100 bag) ( Multi-Pack)
Blending Eastern & Western traditions, naturally. Eco Cert - Certified by Ecocert SA F-32600. Individually wrapped. Our Organic Legends of China White Tea (Bai Mu Dan) is grown in the mountains of the Fujian Province of China and undergoes little processing. The absence of this process leaves the appearance and cell structure of the leaves basically unaltered. This purity may be what some researchers have said might cause white tea to have a greater concentration of antioxidants than all of the teas that originate from green tea. White tea is the most delicate of all its taste being subtle, complex and mildly sweet. The caffeine content of our organic white tea is approximately 15 to 20 mg of caffeine per cup. (Black Tea contains 80 to 120 mg and coffee contains 100 to 200 mg.) Tea bags are oxygen bleached. White tea, like the green tea from which it comes, is one of the most healthiest beverages you can drink on the planet today and it has more antioxidants and less caffeine than regular green tea. Our 100% Organic Legends of China White Tea will provide you with the finest tea leaves for your tea drinking enjoyment and good health. Certified organic by Eco Cert, Inc.

Is Tea Bad for You?

Not at all, if you consider the amount of caffeine present in tea in comparison with coffee. To understand it better, know the fact that a single cup of coffee can contain an amount of caffeine that is three times the content of caffeine in a single cup of tea.
Moreover tea is far healthier, energetic and a great substitute to the coffee. For your daily intake of caffeine, you can easily and safely switch to tea because it can drastically decrement the amount of caffeine you are used to.
So what is the catch?
Not everybody relishes tea as coffee. There are coffee lovers who can sing a song and praise the flavours of coffee for life time. But there is no need to worry, if coffee has found many lovers of, so has tea; there are a great numbers of tea lovers. You can definitely find your heavenly flavored tea partner in myriad variants of coffee from Oolong, green, black and white tea. There are famous brands and distinct aromas to choose from.

Amount of Caffeine in White Tea

There are four major variations of tea that are popular among the tea lovers. Black tea, green tea, white tea and Oolong tea are the four variants which contain different amount of caffeine. The content and effect of caffeine depends upon many factors. It also depends on the location, the type of soil used at the altitude, the cultivation and harvesting methods. Another factor that affects the measure of caffeine is how the tea was oxidized during the production process.
Out of the four popular tea variants, caffeine in white tea is the smallest; it varies from 6 to 25 mg for every 8 oz of white tea. Black tea has the greatest amount of caffeine which varies from 25 to 110 mg per 8 oz of tea servings. Green tea comes after white tea when the amount of caffeine is considered, whereas Oolong comes after green tea.
In nutshell, you just need to remember that tea gives you moderate amount of caffeine which dissolves slowly compared to coffee, it can give you the right boost at the start of your day and also in the tired evening hours.
