Nunn Bush Cameron
I once saw a movie in which a character had a pair of "angry shoes". They were two sizes too small for him and whenever he wanted to be confrontational with someone, he'd put them on to fuel his aggression.
Now, I think there's actually some truth behind that joke. If your footwear isn't the best it can be, you will inevitably be more irritable and you probably won't enjoy your day as much - perhaps even only on a subtle, unconscious level.
The main mission of all my lenses is to make my reader's lives a hint better, so the least I can do is share a little discovery I made - It's an amazing brand of shoe called Nunn Bush Cameron.

How I found the Nunn Bush Cameron
...and no, I don't work for them.
Back in 2001, I had just moved to North Carolina and while trying to get my career started, I found myself in an interim job in a large mall department store. I won't mention which store, but suffice it to say they didn't pay enough and the commission sucked. I managed to stick that horrific job out for two whole months, just long enough to pay my way through the Christmas season, then my work visa mercifully ran out and I had to quit.
However, the job brought me one good thing. I needed a new pair of shoes myself, so one dinner hour - determined to get at least one benefit out of the position - I slipped into the warehouse and literally tried on every shoe I could find. Most of them were pretty similar, but one pair was instantly comfortable: the Nunn Bush Cameron.
I was amazed - it turned out I'd never actually had a really comfortable pair of shoes in my life. I'd just been kidding myself with fairly comfortable inferior brands.
However, the job brought me one good thing. - Both my husband and I have jobs that require us to stand or walk most of the day. A comfortable pair of shoes is vital.
