Anyone can publish an ebook for free...
For those of you who don't know, an ISBN is a number assigned to every published book. It is used to catalog the book so that libraries around the world can keep track of said book. They also cost about $100 unless you buy in serious bulk. Why does this matter? Because the power of the internet makes them entirely worthless, yet they are continually demanded by unsuspecting authors.
If you try to make an ebook by yourself, the forums all point you twords ISBN'd at some point. - Scams happen everywhere, even in places that you do not expect it from. This is a good example of that ebooks are suppose to give you knowledge on a specific topic and when it comes down to ebooks ripping you off you need to have some type of say on that. Thats just my opinion!
