Hello Hookah Fans!

We are Ali and Carleen, the proud proprietors of Caravansarai Imports, an eBay store offering all things Egyptian but specializing in authentic Egyptian hookahs and accessories.  Lucky for us, and our customers, Ali is originally from the heart of Old Cairo where the best hookahs in the world are made. Even better, his family is in the hookah manufacturing business! Several times a year Ali returns to his native Egypt where he collects enough inventory to fill a 40-foot cargo container with hookahs, hookah accessories, belly dancing costumes and jewelry, hip scarves, drums of all kinds, backgammon and chess games, sterling silver charms and pendants, and much more. Because we make and import the majority of our products from the family business, we don't have to deal with middlemen and that means we can pass our savings on to our customers.

Elegant Hookahs 

A word of caution here. Some of the hookahs that are shown here were actually made in China, although they are listed as being Egyptian. Rule of Thumb: If the hookah comes with a carrying case, it was made in China. Authentic Egyptian handcrafted hookahs do not come with manufactured cases.

Shisha Mixes 

Cherry Vanilla Cola

If you're into the soda flavor, here's how to get a shisha mix that is very close in taste!

* 2 parts Cola flavor
* 1 part Red Cherry flavor
* 1 part Vanilla flavor

Mix all three flavors together and let sit for at least an hour to allow them to blend together. We don't recommend any specific shisha brand -- just find the flavors from the brand that you prefer. If you are a Pepsi kind of person, Layalina's Cola will work best but if you're a Coke drinker, you'll definitely want Starbuzz's Classic Cola!
