It was the Horseshoe's Fault

Ever get hit on the head with a horseshoe?

After having just finished a serious lens entitled The Dangers of Non-Communication, Problem Avoidance and Suppressed Emotions, I thought it was time for a general fun one so here it is.

Lots of fun stuff here for the Squiidoo visitor... quizzes, interesting info, great videos, some really nice links to other websites ...

There are even some special things for Squidoo lensmasters - there are 3 large modules here (all near the bottom) which will help you become a better lenmaster by giving you lots more bells, whistles and tools.

So, what's this about a horseshoe?

True Story:

When I was around 7 years old, the other kids locked me in a yard whose fence was high and you couldn't see through the slats.

Lucky me ... I found a horseshoe. So I threw it over the fence because I wanted to get out. I knew the kids would throw it back so I stood in the middle of the yard waiting for that to happen. And it did ... the horseshoe landed on my head and split me open.

That should explain a lot .... duh ....

Ford Motor Company Found Guilty

Detroit, Michigan

6 PM News

Today, the Ford Motor Company was found guilty in Detroit Court of having used Japanese parts in cars manufactured between 2011 and 2015. This is in violation of the "American Made" bill passed in 2011. Judge Thomas Grant has awarded $2.9 Billion in damages to be divided among the 315,000 persons who filed the class action suit against the company.

Financial experts believe that Ford will not need to declare bankruptcy despite the biggest award ever declared in the United States. Charles Smith of the accounting firm, Smith and Jones, said that Ford will probably introduce cost cutting measures by restructuring their company and using more foreign parts.

Who or What are You Anyway?

It is my belief that you have always existed and always will. I don't mean in the human sense but in a cosmic sense. The human mind is limited in its capacity to conceptualize what life is all about.

Consider a person driving a car - it is not the car that moves forward or backwards nor is it the car that arrives at its destination or causes an accident along the way. Neither does the car injure others on its journey. It is the person who is driving the car.

Now, take that idea and use it in conjunction with you, the human being. Your body is the vehicle but something inside is driving it - that something is your soul. It is responsible for where you travel and for any dents and accidents along the way.

Your journey on your road of life can be easy or bumpy - much of which depends upon the attitude and objectives of the soul within.

I've heard rumors indicating that, before my time, there was some way to "favorite" other lensmasters. Reading one of your lenses always makes me wish that were still a feature. Guess I'll have to stalk -- er, FOLLOW! -- you on Pinterest, instead. Thanks, as always, for a great read. "Cut the elephant into bite-sized pieces," indeed.
