Organizations Catering To NPO's
- Your Nonprofit Technology Community
- NTEN is the membership organization of nonprofit professionals who put technology to use for their causes.
NTEN enables our members to do their jobs better and help their organizations strategically use technology so that they, in turn, make the world a better, just, and equitable place. Become a member of NTEN today. - NonProfit Open Source Initiative
- The Nonprofit Open Source Initiative (NOSI) formed in early 2001 as an informal group of non-profit sector technology assistance providers who were interested in the potential of open source software to benefit the organizations they work with.
- The Freely Project
- Setup for the advocacy and encouragement of Open Source Software (OSS) and Linux usage within churches and Christian organisations. Members of the project have a range of technical abilities and denominations. The Project does not have a statement of faith, nor does it require members to be of the Christian faith in order to participate, on the understanding that the Project is specifically for Christian organisations, and thus most members will likely either be connected with the Christian community, or the Linux/OSS community.
- Penguin Day
- At local Penguin Days non-profit organizations explore the range of issues and options involved using Free and Open Source Software(F/OSS). Penguin Day started in Philadelphia in March 2004 by a working group of nonprofit technology organizations. Established with the intent to bring together open source developers and technology support staff for nonprofits, the event began an important conversation about the challenges and opportunities we face.
- Aspiration
- Aspiration's mission is to connect nonprofit organizations with software solutions that help them better carry out their work. We want nonprofit organizations to be able to find and use the best software available, so that they maximize their effectiveness and impact and, in turn, change the world.
