It Figures!® swimsuits have always been designed to relieve the frustration (and sometimes trauma!) that most women were experiencing when trying to find a swimsuit to fit their particular figure. Patricia Byrnes Kane's invention of the "body type" concept in 1987 revolutionized the way swimwear is purchased. Since every woman has her own particular needs and, unlike cosmetics, there is little or no help on the sales floor, Kane's body-typed suits have filled an important need in the market.

"There seems to be a black hole for a lot of women like myself," says Patricia Byrnes Kane, President and Founder of It Figures!® "Even though I'm getting older I have stayed in relatively good shape. I want to wear sexy contemporary looks but the selection is lacking. Other swim collections that are currently offered are cut too skimpy for a woman of my age."

That's where the I.f.® line comes into play. The collection provides just the right coverage, in just the right places, yet its styling is edgy and flattering. The I.f.® Collection runs from sizes 6 - 22 so women of all ages and sizes can look great.

I.f.® styling is always new and cutting edge. This year we introduced hipsters and hipster skirts to pair up with rickrack, lace and satin ribbon trimmed tops to complete this very feminine feeling.

It Figures!® is staffed by women, and all the designs and silhouettes are created by women as well. In addition, a return postcard is included on every suit to enable purchasers to provide feedback (and future design ideas) to the It Figures!® team.

The I.f.® line is so forward in its prints, styling and details that buying offices, retail management and the media keep borrowing samples for trend presentations. It Figures!® donates a portion of the sales proceeds from every suit to fund advanced research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. The company also carries a complete line of Mastectomy suits.

Not only are we offering fashion forward mastectomy suits, but we deliberately maintain lower retails to help women more easily afford these highly constructed suits.
