So Where Have You Been In The World?
Let me know where you have been, earn your own Featured Lens Module to tell your story.
From the lens I've Been There.
Would you like to have your own section on this lens to tell the world about some of the places that you have been to? If you would, then just write a paragraph or two to say something about some special places that you have been to, and then up to 5 lenses about those places. The lenses can be yours or someone else's, it doesn't matter.
If you are going to list someone else's lens, why not let them know that you listed it here. They will hopefully link back to this lens, and also visit some of your lenses too, so everyone wins.
Just one rule - don't add any HTML - just list the addresses of the lenses.
You won't be able to leave a comment here unless you are a member of Squidoo, so if you would like to add your own section, just CLICK HERE to join Squidoo and create your own first lens. What to make a lens about? How about YOU! A short biography of yourself is always a good way to start as a lensmaster. That should take about 5 minutes - you can come back to it and improve it time and time again.

- I love this lens because to me it represents the fantastic Community spirit on Squidoo. I have some places I have been and must sort out some lenses or tell you about other people's, so save a place for me.
But in the meantime here is a little sprinkle of Angel Dust to a great Community minded lensmaster on Squidoo - sprinkle, sprinkle.....

- OK -- it is high time that I check in and let you know that YES, I've been there -- I've been to Costa del Sol, Spain -- more specifically -- Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda, Casares, Gaucin, Jubrique, Nerja, Mijas, Jerez, Cadiz, Tarifa, Antequera, Granada -- the Alhambra, and Benalmadena Costa! We flew over Portugal and saw Gibraltar and Tanger from a distance.

- Great idea! I love lenses like this, that share lenses by other squids in some creative way. I've found so many great lenses this way, as well as lensmasters I'd never seen before. I'd love to share some of my own here. Thanks for doing this! (I also added this to a plexo on my Squidoo Lenses That Don't Sell A Thing. I know you'd stopped by, but I didn't see this one listed, so I took the liberty under "Adventurous Lenses."

- Wow, this is a cool idea! I've lived in many beautiful places: Gettysburg, San Antonio, Savannah, El Paso, Monterey, Chesapeake, Quantico, Countries of Panama and Germany, and I've visited many more. I haven't done a lens on them, though, except perhaps Living in Bavaria. I've done the Castles of Germany, but I haven't been to all of them, so that doesn't count. Still, it's cool to see where people have been, so this is awesome.

- LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lens. My true passion is traveling so thank you so much for stopping by my Claude Monet Giverny lens and leaving such nice comments (including a heads up about this lens). I really appreciate it:) I'm going to try and put something together to send over to you. I just have such a hard time choosing 5 lenses from my travels because I love just about everywhere that I've been. I can't wait to get a bit more adventurous and go to places like Nepal and Machu Picchu. All of the featured people have been some great places and I'm looking forward to reading about all of their adventures. 5*****!!

- Greetings from Barbados! I am an American and grew up with an airline pilot father. My best memories as a child were our travels to the (I realize now) rather cilche places Americans go: Disneyland, Hawaii, Montreal, Miami, and Orlando. Those were enough to get the travel bug, though. When I graduated college I went to Egypt, where I'd wanted to go since we studied it in the 4th grade. Since then, I've been through Western Europe (my favorite places being Paris, Provence, the Algarve in Portugal, anywhere in Italy, London -- oh, wait, those sound a bit cliche, too, don't they?) More exotic travel includes Bali (a magical place for me), Oman (loved it and hope it never becomes Dubai or Abu Dhabi), Dubai, Abu Dhabi (holy moly, Disneyland/Las Vegas on steroids), southern India. I had been living in San Francisco for 12 years when I happened to meet a man from Barbados. Love it. My lens: http://www.squidoo.com/PlanetBarbados. Come visit!

- I had the amazing good fortune to spend nearly three years living in Rome. I was studying at the time at the Pontifical Gregorian University. From my term time home the popular Rome attractions of Campo Di Fiori, Piazza Navona, St Peter's Basilica and many more became very familiar to me on a daily basis. Which is why I have created a number of lenses about Rome - with more to come! I aslso cannot fail to mention somewhere I visit frequently which is London our capital!

- Poddys, this is a gem of a lens! What a creative idea! I suspect a lot more will be adding to it in the months ahead.
I've traveled the U.S. to every state but five or six. I grew up in a family of 8, and my dad worked an extra job so we could afford summer roadtrips. We lived in California, so most of the trips took us thousands of miles east. My sixteenth summer, we spent several days in D.C. exploring our nation's capitol.
Spent my tenth wedding anniversary in Paris. What a fabulous memory! Husband was in the military then, and we lived in Germany. Went to Italy, Luxembourg, Austria...but ran out of steam & money, so never made it to Spain or England. Would love to go to Ireland someday.
Traveling is a wonderful experience. It looks like you've had your share! Thanks for such a fun lens!

- Where have I been? Ah, my favorite places -- Hungary [Heviz, Lake Balaton, Budapest], Romania [Satu Mare], Czech Republic [Prague, Czeske Krumlov], Venice, Paris, Kauai, Costa Rica, the British Virgin Islands and Mexico. Some of my great places that I've been to were captured on film, not digital cameras. So, as I've been creating my lenses, I'll take some time to scan some of my pictures. Great idea for a lens! Love it.
