Ivor

The Star of The Show

Ivor is absolutely the most famous steam engine in Wales! Although fictional he has brought much joy to many thousands over the years.
The engine was based on the common type light traction or industrial shunting steam locomotive.
In 2007 a Peckett industrial locomotive was painted and slightly modified to resemble Ivor for a number of heritage events.

Jones The Steam

The Driving Force

Jones the Steam does have a first name unlike most other characters. Though you don't actually here it mentioned that often in the series. Edwin Jones, and he is an excellent companion for Ivor and a moderating influence to keep him on 'track'.
