I Want Out Of This Chair

My Story...

A native of Puerto Rico, I came to this great country seeking possibility and prosperity.

I met my soul mate in 1994; we fell in love instantly and embarked on a journey together towards having a family and a beautiful long life together. I am now 40 years old and here's my story%u2026

I've been miss-diagnoses 6 times. In May 1993 I rapidly lost all my strength and my ability to breathe and move. At first, the doctors thought that I had a brain tumor. Then the doctors thought that I had MS and even treated me with steroids. I am now in a wheelchair due to no fault of my own and my dreams have now taken a turn. I no longer am looking forward to all the things of old; I am now only dream of walking again. As my condition worsened, the doctors in Puerto Rico advised me to go to the United States for help. I was immediately admitted for a month to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York and every test came back negative. I have survived for six years and I am breaking the world the record of ALS without severe and continual.

I have been searching for more than a year for a doctor to treat me with stem cell; I believe hard work has paid off. I found the doctor's information in an internet ad by Google, when I was updating my blogs, I saw the ad and I clicked, I saw Medra Clinic (http://www.medra.com) and Dr. Rader's video about a baby story which I called a miracle. From my experience, I know how difficult it is to keep up the faith and the optimism when you see a different reality which is very cruel. I struggle everyday just to be able to ask for glass of water. Every little thing that I took for granted previously is now a miracle performed for me and a true blessing from God.
