Eastwood scoring his own film
Clint Eastwood wrote the original music for "J Edgar", his latest directorial project. Eastwood, more popularly known as actor and director, wrote the score for the 2003 movie "Mystic River", and "Million Dollar Baby" the following year. He was the director of both films.
In 2007 he wrote the score for "Grace is Gone" which starred John Cusack. The movie was directed by James Strouse. He was also the composer of many movie theme songs including "A Fistful of Dollars" in which he also starred. Others include "Unforgiven", "A Perfect World", "The Bridges of Madison County" and "Absolute Power" and last year's film "Hereafter", all of which he directed.
The tracklist and release date of "J. Edgar" Original Movie Soundtrack have not been announced.

- I had no idea that Clint Eastwood wrote musical scores. I've seen most of the movies he acted in, and knew he directed many, but didn't know he was also a songwriter. How interesting! A multi-talented man for sure!
