Jackasses Blunders Gaffes and Stupidity

In January 2011 soccer commentators Andy Gray and Richard Keys were caught making off air remarks about female referees assistant Sian Massey and her the supposed extent of her grasp of the Soccer Offside Rule.

Their remarks caused indignation and were brought into focus the institutional sexism that allegedly pervades British soccer. Something that Vice-Chair of West Ham United Karen Brady is leading the fight against. She was also in the 'firing line' of Keys and Grays remarks when they said ""See charming Karren Brady this morning complaining about sexism? Yeah. Do me a favour, love,"

On January 25th 2011 Sky TV sacked Andy Gray following the emergence of more sexist remarks.

Student Edward Woollard faces up to five years in jail for throwing a fire extinguisher at police from a building roof top. An act of jackassary Woollard is said to be very sorry.

Caught up in the intensity of student protests against rising university and govenment cutbacks Mr Woollard decide it would be a good idea to drop a fire extinguisher several from sseveral stories high on the heads of the police who were assembled below. Luckily no one was hurt.

He was sentence to Two Years and Eight Months in prison on the 11th January 2011. His mother was praised by the judge for encouraging her son to own up.

British politician caused outrage in November 2010 when he claimed in an interview with the Daily Telegraph. that despite being in a 'so called' (his words) recession that most people in Britain had never had it so good! His comments have provoked outrage in the general public and embarrassment for Prime Minister Cameron. What a jackass!

Academic Professor Orlando Figes has severly tarnished his reputation as a leading Russion historian, after he has admitted to providing anonymous positive reveiws about his own work and knocking the publications of other academics.

Like so many people Figes has fallen prey to the disinhibiting effect the social media and networking space has on many people. He has now admitted his error and is paying libel damages and costs to Dr Rachel Polonsky and Professor Robert Service.

Can anything more be said about the public relations ineptitude of Tony Hayward? His verbal clumsiness has now degenerated into a form of helpless socio-pathic disregard for the feelings of others. University Lecturer Paul Hwang was foud gulity of voyeurism after he rigged a camera in an air freshener

University student Philip Laing acted like a Jackass when he captured on film relieving himself on a War Memorial in Sheffield.

The Judge in case said that part of the blame lay with drinks promoter Carnage UK who encourage a binge drinking culture in student locations.
