A fresh idea, and one heck of an artistic commitment
The following video uses absolutely no computer effects. They shot the whole thing in reverse to get the effect of it happening backwards.
But if you'll notice, Jack's singing the words right on cue with the song.
That's right; he memorized the song backwards so that he could sing along with the video as they ran the song in reverse (and covered him with spaghetti).

The Message He Sends Isn't Just Lyrics

Unlike some other musical celebrities, Jack Johnson doesn't sing from a soapbox without backing up his message with actions.In fact, he does very little preaching at all. Instead, leading by example, Johnson tells a story and leads a movement that's easier to follow because he's not so eager to point fingers or place blame.
Causes Jack Supports
With action and money, not just words.

- The community Jack started himself to organize people who all believe in the same movements.
- Climate Counts
- A non-profit organization that uses real-world measurements to keep tabs on businesses (allowing their customers to make educated choices about which businesses to support, all based on their environmental responsibility).
- 1% for the Planet
- This innovative foundation takes most of its donations from high-revenue companies, whose pledge to give 1% of their revenue earns them the right to be called members of the organization. They can then put the 1% logo on their products, encouraging consumers to buy responsibly, too. Jack's a member, of course.
